In 1998, when Vikk moved from Ludhiana, Punjab India to Bangalore, Karnataka India to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering, his passion for business drove him to seek opportunities to earn money alongside his studies. On the advice of his mother, Vikk Kapoor launched his real estate business . With students at his college, arriving from across India to study in Bangalore, many of them would look for rental accommodations. Vikk stepped in to help them find suitable places, earning commissions from the landlords. To better communicate with local residents in Bangalore, Vikk quickly learned Kannada, giving him a competitive edge in real estate negotiations by speaking the local language.
After earning his degree in Civil Engineering, Vikk began working as a site engineer for a high-rise complex in Bangalore. When prospective buyers visited the property, he took the opportunity to act as a real estate agent, selling units for a commission. This allowed him to quickly quit his site engineer's job and continue growing his real estate career until he moved to the United States on December 21st, 2002.
After arriving in the USA, filled with vibrant energy and ambition, he started his journey as an entrepreneur in the import and distribution business. Through hard work, grit, and determination, he built it into a multi-million dollar company. But in 2008, during the market crash, he lost everything. His net worth went to ZERO. His net worth didn’t just hit zero—it plunged into the negatives, leaving him with half a million dollars in debt. He could have given up, but he remembered the lessons his mother taught him while raising him: Focus on the solutions not the problems, keep the faith in the almighty and pray with whole and pure heart. He realized that failure is not the end—it’s an opportunity to rise, learn, and rebuild stronger than before and that’s exactly what he did. he didn’t just rebuild—He came back stronger and started new business. Vikk firmly believes in diversifying income streams rather than relying on a single source. This mindset led him to invest in multiple businesses.
Today, Black Star Multi Ventures LLC is a leading provider of comprehensive property solutions in Austin, TX, with a growing presence nationwide. We currently have $580 million dollars worth of projects in progress.

Vikk has also expanded Black Star Multi Ventures LLC into Bollywood film producers, with its debut film currently in production. Upon completion, the movie is set to premiere on Amazon Prime and other streaming platforms.
